Beyondblue gets Truckline grand opening support

Truckline continues to go from strength to strength and in its latest move the retailer is opening a state-of-the-art Bunbury branch with a charity event.

The new facility replaces the 20-year-old existing branch and features an interactive showroom, better parking facilities, a large warehouse, and a modernised layout.

The grand opening event for the new branch will be held on 30 November from midday to 6pm, at Truckline Bunbury – 65 Halifax Drive, Davenport, Bunbury.

The event will raise funds for beyondblue, with a voluntary gold coin donation, BBQ, and charity auction of truck parts and accessories.

All money raised will be donated to beyondblue and Truckline will match the proceeds dollar-for-dollar.

Beyondblue General Manager Workplace, Partnerships and Engagement Patrice O’Brien is thrilled to have the support of Truckline.

“We are extremely grateful for Truckline’s interest in fundraising for beyondblue,” she said.

“Through their support, Truckline is helping beyondblue continue to do everything they can to create mentally heathy environments and improve the lives of individuals, families and communities affected by anxiety, depression and suicide in Australia.

Truckline Bunbury branch sales manager Bradley Wood highlighted the importance of mental health awareness in the transport industry and Truckline’s support for beyondblue.

“Truckline and our suppliers are proud to support beyondblue via our grand opening event,” he said.

“Mental health issues touch so many across society, and the trucking industry is particularly susceptible due to long periods away from family, time pressures and exposure to road accidents.

“Beyondblue is a fantastic organisation who do great work, and it’s an extremely worthy cause for Truckline.

“We hope to see lots of our local community members and fellow businesses at the event and look forward to showing off our new branch and raising funds for beyondblue at the same time,” he said.
