After lengthy negotiations, Pirelli truck tyres will now be distributed on the east coast of Australia by Tyre and Tube Australia.

The new arrangement will see Tyre and Tube Australia providing distribution services for the Italian brand in Queensland, New South Wales, the ACT and Northern Territory, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.

Pirelli has been actively involved in the commercial and industrial sector for over 100 years, playing a key role in product development and evolution, perfecting unique technologies in response to increasingly sophisticated demands from the world of transport.

The most recent achievements in the commercial vehicle developments by Pirelli are the birth of the 'Amaranto' range of advanced technology products and secondly the participation and fantastic success in extreme sporting events such as Dakar and Rally of the Pharaohs.

The Amaranto range benefits from the exclusive SATT (Spiral Advanced Technology for Trucks) process, utilising a spiral process technology for specific components, which also eliminates joints, with a consequent improvement in both tyre uniformity and driving comfort.

Pirelli says the decision to go with Tyre and Tube Australia is based on the company’s 14 years experience in distribution of all types of commercial tyres, professional and dedicated staff, an established and reputable dealer network and 6 distribution warehouses throughout Australia.
