November 18, 2009Diesel prices continue to rise, moving up slightly by 0.1 cents per litre compared to last week- the sixth consecutive rise in as many weeks.

pricing data from the
Australian Institute of Petroleum shows prices in all states apart from Darwin hovering around the 115 to 116 cents per litre mark throughout the week.
Diesel in Melbourne was the cheapest in the country, averaging at a price of 115.3 cents per litre.
Brisbane and Sydney averaged 115.5 cents and 115.6 cents per litre respectively, while Adelaide averaged 11.59 cents a litre.
Darwin topped the list with an average diesel price of 120.2 cents per litre - 3.9 cents higher than Perth which was the second most expensive city for the week at 116.5 cents a litre.
