December 1, 2009Diesel prices for the week ending November 27 remained the roughly same as the previous week, with an average of 114.6 cents per litre.

pricing data from the
Australian Institute of Petroleum shows prices in all states apart from Darwin hovering around the 113.4 to 114.2 cents per litre mark throughout the week.
Diesel in Melbourne was the cheapest in the country, averaging 113.4 cents per litre and was closely followed by Brisbane and Sydney which averaged 113.6 cents and 113.8 cents per litre respectively.
Adelaide averaged 114 cents per litre, while Darwin was the most expensive region with an average price of 118.3 cents a litre.
The price was 3.7 cents higher than Perth, which finished as the second most expensive city for the week at 114.7 cents a litre- a decrease of 0.10 cents from last week.
