December 8, 2009Diesel prices rose by an average of 0.10 cents per litre, with average prices nationally remaining almost the same as the previous two weeks.

pricing data from the
Australian Institute of Petroleum shows prices in all states apart from Darwin hovering around 114.7 cents per litre throughout the week.
Melbourne was the cheapest in the country, averaging 113.5 cents per litre.
Brisbane and Sydney averaged 113.7 cents and 113.9 cents per litre respectively.
Adelaide was averaged 114.1 cents per litre, while Darwin was the most expensive region with an average price of 118.4 cents.
The figure was 3.9 cents higher than Perth, which finished as the second most expensive city for the week at 114.5 cents a litre- a decrease of 0.10 cents from last week.
