Witnesses to a fatal crash between a truck and bicycle rider are being urged to come forward to help solve the matter.

The incident happened at Bulimba near Brisbane on February 15 when the truck and bicycle collided at the intersection of Lytton Road and Apollo Road.

The truck driver was travelling south-east on Apollo Road before making a left turn into Lytton Road when the cyclist collided with the truck.

The truck continued another 30 metres before stopping. The rider died at the scene.

“The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing their investigation and is asking for witnesses who saw the direction the bicycle was travelling or the street the bicycle was travelling on to contact them,” a police statement says.
