Hino Australia has announced an expansion in its dealership network with the appointment of Southside Truck Centre in Lismore, New South Wales as a sales branch.
VP of brand and franchise development for Hino Australia, Bill Gillespie says that the local Lismore dealer was a great fit for Hino given its long association with the brand.
“Following its success over the last six years as a parts and service Hino franchise, Southside Truck Centre was a logical addition to the 41 Hino sales dealerships across the country,” says Gillespie.
“We are continually monitoring the Australian truck market to understand the needs of our customers.
“Southside Truck Centre has been part of the Australian trucking landscape for over 50 years, so they were the perfect choice to support and service our customers in the Northern Rivers region.”

“Like many businesses, the pandemic forced us to re-evaluate our business, and it was a logical conclusion to expand our range of products to include Hino, providing our customers with more medium and light-duty options, and a complete range of trucks for all applications,” says dealer principal of Southside Trucks, Steve Robinson.
