Daimler Truck Australia Pacific has announced a new dealer will look after the Fuso brand in Tasmania.
From early next year, dealer AJL will sell and support Fuso trucks and buses in the state, adding on to its Mercedes-Benz and Freightliner operations.
The local company will sell and support Fuso trucks and buses at its Burnie, Hobart and Devonport facilities. From early 2026, AJL will also open a new facility in Launceston.
The expansion means Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso trucks will be supported by the same dealership group at major cities across the Apple Isle.
Daimler Truck Australia Pacific Sales, Marketing and Operations Vice President Andrew Assimo says Fuso customers are in good hands in Tasmania.
