We’re only days out from the 2025 edition of the North Coast Petroleum Casino Truck Show, with the town ready for another major show.
Taking place this Saturday, thousands of trucking enthusiasts, industry leaders and exhibitors will descend on Casino from across the country.
The event will celebrate innovation, horsepower and the heart of the trucking community, with the show organisers saying this year’s running is primed to be bigger and better than ever.
There will be 550 trucks on display alongside the usual live entertainment, trade exhibits, street eats and family-friendly attractive, while more than $60,000 in cash prizes and vouchers are also up for grabs.
Upon entry, entrants will receive a goodie bag of quality products from Omikron Auto Detailing Products with a total value of $20,000.
The Rig of the Show winner for this year will receive a $5,000 voucher courtesy of RTE Custom Trucks and $1,500 cash.
Casino Truck Show organising committee spokesman Darren Goodwin says North Coast Petroleum Casino Truck Show is not just a showcase of incredible rigs – it’s a celebration of the entire trucking industry and the people who kept it moving.
He says the incredible support from sponsors is helping drive one of Australia’s best truck shows.
“Without the support and generosity shown from our valued sponsors, our beloved Truck Show wouldn’t be what it is and we thank them wholeheartedly,” he says.

Richmond Valley Council’s General Manager Vaughan Macdonald says the team is also proud to announce a new charity partnership with Get Yourself Checked, a not-for-profit dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of men across Australia.
Get Yourself Checked is a new initiative founded by Mark Tobin, owner of Followmont Transport, and Brett Hanly, from Country Trucker Caps, and its mission is getting Aussie blokes to take charge of their health and get tested for prostate cancer.
As part of the charity’s awareness campaign, the trailers of a Kenworth B-double had become a rolling billboard, carrying the messages ‘one in six’, Fight Prostate Cancer, and Get Yourself Checked. The Kenworth will be part of this year’s Truck Show.
“This collaboration marks a significant step in our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and making a meaningful difference,” Macdonald says.
“We look forward to supporting Get Yourself Checked through various initiatives and engaging our team and community in this important work.
“Together, we can help bring about positive change for those who need it most.”
On the day, truck displays will stretch from River Street to Pratt Street while two epic stages have been set up. The much anticipated Dawson’s Haulage truck parade will also roll through Johnston and Centre Streets from 10am.
Truck trailer drop off zones will see unsecure parking at Dyrabba Street and the precinct off Reynolds Road, while the secure zone is at NRLX 74 Dargaville Drive, Casino.
