The clear market leader in Australia’s medium-duty trucking sector is announcing it is about to get a whole lot better, with Isuzu Australia showcasing a raft of new features on its latest model range.
As Isuzu gets closer to launching its all-new 2025 F Series range for the very first time, the market leader is ready to take the popular F Series to the next level in 2025.
Following a string of soft and preview launch events for VIP fleets, suppliers and key partners, Isuzu Australia can now formally introduce the all-new MY25 F Series to the Australian media and public.
With this latest release, Isuzu Trucks says it is once again raising the industry benchmark across the critical safety, performance, driver environment and vehicle operations criteria.
The roll-out of this expansive new line-up incorporates tightly specified models spanning a versatile GVM range of 11 to 26 tonnes, within the medium-duty market segment.
Encompassing an array of engine, transmissions, suspension and wheelbase variants, the new Isuzu F Series is set to continue its role as the pre-eminent industry task master.
The prominent new cab design certainly turns heads, with various elements, from the bold grille to distinctive headlamps and newly engineered bumper, all coming together in a sophisticated and assertive posture.
Keeping with the visual theme, another design element incorporates a new, full LED lighting package, including daytime running lamps and LED interiors.
FRR and FSR models have the headlamps integrated into the cab, while the larger FV and F Series 4×4 models receive bumper-mounted lamps.
Aesthetics aside, safety for both the truck operator and other road users is at the heart of the 2025 global model launch of the F Series.
Building on its safety suite, Isuzu says 2025 bears witness to the single largest leap forward in safety in the history of the Isuzu brand, with a slew of active safety features added to Isuzu’s Advanced Driver Assistance System.
Every model across the line-up, including popular 4×4 models, benefit from a baseline safety suite containing up to 12 active and passive systems.
The active safety system is informed by Isuzu’s ADAS camera technology, which is now mounted low on the windscreen, in combination with a long range milli-wave radar on all variants, located in the centre of the bumper bar.

Isuzu says new safety standards were a key deliverable in designing and developing the all-new F Series range.
ADAS camera functions include lane departure warning, attention assist warning, traffic movement warning, traffic sign recognition with intelligent speed limiter and adaptive driving beam, except for 4×4 models.
The ADAS camera and millimetre radar combined functions feature a distance warning system, an advanced emergency brake system and full speed adaptive cruise control (except for manual transmission and 4×4 models).
Another critical focus of the global launch of Isuzu’s new range is a raft of cabin comfort features across every model.
Be it the brand-new ergonomic ISRI 6860/875 NTS2 climate seat, a new steering wheel with integrated controls and switches, or the large driver’s multi-info display, the all-new F Series cabs are designed to be comfortable, intuitive and endorse a genuine car-like driveability.
There are now day, rest and crew cab variants, and this release marks the first time that the roomier ‘rest’ cab has been available in 4-cylinder F Series models for the Australian market.
This provides owners and operators of select models with the option of specifying additional cab space, better suited to longer regional or intrastate runs, where more space in the cab is required for gear and equipment, or simply for a more open and accommodating space.
Off the back of several Australian Design Rules (ADRs), including improved emissions standards under ADR 80/04, the 2025 model range also introduces cleaner and more powerful engines combined with improved torque output.
Headline news for the F Series line-up is the introduction of a new 6.7 litre Isuzu DB6A engine, co-developed with Cummins, helping to expand opportunities across medium and heavy-duty segments.
Built in Isuzu’s Tochigi Engine Plant in Japan and available in both a 260 PS (191kW) and 300PS (221kW) rating, this unique Isuzu collaboration does away with the need for exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), meaning fewer maintenance requirements, improved combustion efficiency and fuel economy.
Both engine variants are mated exclusively with Allison 6-speed Gen six automatic transmissions and meet Euro-VI emissions standards via a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and Diesel Particulate Diffuser (DPD) combination.
Celebrating two decades as Australian trucking’s premiere customer care and support suite, Isuzu Care continues to underpin a range of medium and heavy-duty transport operations across the country.
Feeding into purchase considerations at a growing rate, MY25 F Series Care offers a six-year factory warranty and six years of 24/7 roadside assist as standard across most of the range (excluding some harsh application models).
Isuzu says its service agreement packages continue to be a core plank in this uptime arsenal too, offering customers a range of affordable, ‘set and forget’ maintenance and repair support across the country.
With its MY25 F Series release, Australia’s ‘go-to’ medium-duty trucking brand says its latest model range is more compelling than ever before, offering more operational flexibility, efficiency, safety and comfort whatever the application may be.
