The Brisbane Truck Show brings together the heart of our industry — owner-drivers, fleet operators and innovators from across Australasia. This year’s event smashed records, with 54,790 attendees getting to experience the latest in trucks, equipment and technology.
If you missed the action, here’s what stood out for MyTrucking and our big news for your business.
The MyTrucking team shared a sneak peek of our much-anticipated Calendar View. As another way for our customers to view their Daysheet, it allows for easy planning of jobs for the day and it also has the ability to drag and drop jobs into timeslots.
It’s so handy, and we can’t wait for its release soon.
Secondly, as MyTrucking grows, so do our partnerships. It was awesome sharing our stand with Xero and their affiliate partner Amarose Accounting. The team shared the benefits of integrating MyTrucking with Xero.
“It’s clear that MyTrucking is a trusted name here in Australia, and it’s been a real privilege to collaborate with you,” Amanda Hargreaves from Amarose Accounting says.

Beyond our stand, the show was packed with trucks, demos, equipment and technology. Everyone was there from industry giants, innovative newcomers and fans.
“The innovation, all the stuff that’s happening in this tech world, is pretty cool. We’ve been fortunate to meet customers as far as WA, down to Invercargill, New Zealand,” MyTrucking co-founder Sara Orsborn says.
“Thanks everyone that came to see us, to say hi, and we’ll see you again soon.”
At the show, we celebrated a whopping 19 new enhancements! These updates range from new features to usability improvements.
All were released since the Brisbane Truck Show two years ago. Thanks to our customers for your suggestions – we hope you love them!
These enhancements for mobile app users include individual job accepting, adjustable text size, the ability to sort by pickup or delivery times, out of range updates, selecting multiple images and pull down syncs.
It also allows users to capture the GPS coordinates when a driver takes a photo, show completed or uploaded jobs for drivers, switch user profiles, use face recognition login and scan documents.
On the web side, it allows MyTrucking users to access multi-leg for transhipping, reporting improvements, driver allocation, client and location attachments, links to Xero from the invoice number, activity rate, office notes and MyTrucking API for integration with other systems.
It was a blast to share all of this at the Brisbane Truck Show. Check out our summary video to see more about the event.
