Transurban is a sponsor of the event, saying it supports local trucking communities while the event also helps to support fundraising efforts for Queensland’s first and only children’s hospice in Hummingbird House Brisbane.

The Transurban incident response team will assist the convoy as it makes its way along the Logan and Gateway motorways enroute to Redcliffe, while its Logan West Upgrade team will also be onsite at the Redcliffe Showgrounds from 9am to noon, ready to answer questions about the project and hear feedback.

The Brisbane Convoy for Kids and Truck Show was started by a local Logan truck driver and has raised more than $1 million over 11 convoys, providing funding support to children’s charities across south-east Queensland.
