Designed for modern diesel engines, Total Rubia Works 4000 15W-40 is said to feature a low ash content, which Total says makes it ideal for use in vehicles with either Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) or Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) emission control systems to prevent clogging, and to extend post-treatment system durability.

Total Oil Australia will be promoting its Total Rubia Works 4000 15W-40 heavy duty engine oil at the show.

In addition, Total Rubia Works 4000 15W-40 claims to provide extended drain interval in line with manufacturer’s recommendations, while maintaining its viscosity to offer outstanding long-term wear protection for operators. Total states that these product attributes contribute further to lower the total cost of ownership.

Total says its commitment to providing innovative products through extensive research and development has produced the Total Rubia range of lubricants that meet exacting OEM standards. It is reported to have gained over 200 approvals from heavy vehicle equipment manufacturers including Scania, MAN, Volvo, Renault, as well as engine manufacturers Cummins and Detroit Diesel.

Total Oil Australia national sales and marketing manager, Rhyse Moore, says the organisation is looking forward to engaging more closely with the road transport industry at the Brisbane Truck Show.

“The strength and benefits in our product line up, our specialist service approach and successful partnerships within industries similar to heavy duty transport, underwrites our focus and desire to build lasting relationships and become a key player within this segment,” Moore says.

Total Oil Australia will be at Stand 314 on the Plaza Level at this year’s Brisbane Truck show, held from May 13 to 16 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
