The Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) has confirmed the Bruce Highway has officially reopened across the Seymour River north of Ingham.
The major freight route is now open to key heavy vehicles at Gairloch, with waters receding at the Seymour River.
Northbound freight is already moving, with southbound freight to soon follow before the roads reopen to the general public.
Queensland Police Service (QPS) is on-site managing traffic, and TMR urges motorists to follow all signage and directions from QPS.
