It was the first time at the Castlemaine Truck Show for Greg Camilleri
Greg Camilleri drives a 2009 Kenworth T608 that subbies to Border Express.
Greg told Owner//Driver that his boss Paul, is a top bloke and lets him play with the truck.
“The Kentweld bar is the original but we have just updated it, putting lights on the top and bottom, new mud flaps and a swing plate just to make it a look a bit more tougher” and a “bit more shinier,” said Greg, “it is a sensational truck for its age and with a 600hp Cummins up front, it has plenty of power and nice loud stacks to wake up the neighbours!”
Greg does local, loading and unloading B-doubles all over Melbourne.
While the traffic is a problem, Greg told Owner//Driver that he usually cruises around 10kph under the speed limit.
“This is my first time to Castlemaine and I’m happy to be here,” he says.
“There are a few of us, we had a Convoy up here from the BP at Melton. We’ve got tents set up and we’ll have a quiet drink now!”
