MegaTrans is set to return to Melbourne this September, with a raft of new-look features and a conference program built around the real-world pressures and opportunities reshaping Australia’s freight and logistics sector.
A major part of MegaTrans 2026 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre is the inaugural Operator Hub – presented by Geotab, giving Australian transport, logistics and freight companies the opportunity to showcase their leading services and features.
Part of the growing Operator Hub is long-standing Australian transport operator Centurion, who will represent its national capabilities as a full logistics solutions provider.
“Centurion is continuing to strengthen our national footprint through key freight corridors and delivering a more integrated, end-to-end logistics network, especially to the vitally important regional and remote areas,” a Centurion spokesperson told OwnerDriver.
“The focus remains on network efficiency, fleet and infrastructure investment, and practical sustainability initiatives to support the next phase of Australia’s freight demand.”

The MegaTrans Operator Hub provides a range of companies with the chance to showcase their operations and latest developments. For Centurion, this means discussing its longevity in the Australian logistics sector (having been founded in 1971) and its extensive fleet of more than 2,000 vehicles and specialised equipment alongside a branch network in key centres across Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Queensland.
In WA, Centurion’s footprint covers more than 400,000 sqm including Perth, the Pilbara, the Kimberley, Murchison and the Goldfields, while the Queensland operators cover branches in Brisbane, Emerald, Mackay, Rockhampton and Townsville.
In the Northern Territory, Darwin headquarters provide port services, heavy haulage and line haul transport, 3PL logistics, warehousing and refrigerated freight. Centurion says it’s looking forward to representing its brand at the Operator Hub in Melbourne later this year.
“It’s a strong initiative and an important platform for operators to contribute directly to industry conversations,” the spokesperson says.

The conference also provides a key way of covering the latest topics in the industry, allowing operators, suppliers and stakeholders the opportunity to discuss the most pressing issues facing the sector.
Reflecting an industry in transition, the program will explore the key challenges shaping the future of supply chains, from decarbonisation and automation to workforce pressures and infrastructure planning.
Whether it be Beyond Diesel: The Best Way Forward or Automative All Avenues: Driving All Modes Forward, the MegaTrans conference features a diverse range of topics and panels.
“Key areas we’re looking forward to hearing at the conference include freight efficiency, supply chain resilience (particularly in regional and remote Australia) and the role of technology in improving visibility and performance across the supply chain,” the spokesperson says.
