Clarendon Classic puts on another stunning weekend

Clarendon Classic

It was Kenworth galore at the Clarendon Classic Machinery, Truck and Hobby Show as truck lovers crowded the Hawkesbury Showgrounds in NSW this weekend.

Showcasing a stunning variety of styles and models that catered to every kind of truck enthusiast, crowds had an endless array of impressive vintage vehicles, tractors, cars, buses, steam engines and models to gawk at, from a 1915 T model Ford to a 909 Kenworth.

Event organiser, Steve Muscat says with only 500 trucks originally expected to attend this year, he was blown away to discover how many rolled through the Clarendon gates.

“Approximately 1,100 trucks attended, but there were 722 Kenworths officially registered,” he says.

Exceeding expectations, over 6,000 people graced the grounds, joining in on fun filled activities like kids rides and a vintage tractor pull.

Beyond the trucks themselves, Steve reflected on the atmosphere, highlighting the sheer joy radiating from the crowd.

“Just seeing the smile on everybody’s faces, that’s the rewarding part, knowing that the community enjoyed it.”

The two-day event not only exhibited some of Australia’s most exquisite machinery and restored vehicles but was a moment for the community to share a common love for trucks and form unforgettable bonds.

With its huge turnout and palpable enthusiasm, this year’s Clarendon Classic will be remembered as a true highlight of the local calendar.
