Countdown underway for 2025 Casino Truck Show

The wait is almost over for the 2025 edition of the North Coast Petroleum Casino Truck Show, bringing together truck enthusiasts, industry professionals and families.

There’s just over 130 days to go until the event takes place in the Casino CBD on Saturday August 2, with preparations in full swing for the annual event.

As one of the premier truck shows in the southern hemisphere, the NCP Casino Truck Show will include a wide line-up of classic rigs, custom builds and some of the finest equipment on highways, with live entertainment, vendor exhibits, interactive experiences and activities all provided.

This year’s show will be capped at 550, with parade numbers limited to 200 and unsponsored fleets capped at six trucks only.

Registrations remain as $30 per truck, including competition entry and parking in the event precinct, while online registrations are only via the show’s website.

There’s no on-day entries accepted, with registrations accepted from July 1.

Richmond Valley Council and the Casino Truck Show Organising Committee say they are delighted to announce two new three-year deals with North Coast Petroleum as principal Naming Rights Sponsor and with Dawson’s Haulage as exclusive Parade Naming Rights Sponsor.

Richmond Valley Council general manager Vaughan Macdonald says these agreements reflected a shared commitment to the truck show’s long-term success.

“Council welcomes North Coast Petroleum’s and Dawson’s Haulage’s continued sponsorship of the Casino Truck Show and are thankful to Mick McKinlay and Graeme Dawson and their teams for their support of one of the greatest truck shows in the southern hemisphere,” he says.

Richmond Valley Council mayor Robert Mustow says this year’s event promised to be better than ever.

“We’re excited to welcome truck enthusiasts from near and far to celebrate the passion and innovation of the trucking industry,” Mustow says.

Highlights of the event include Friday Night Lights, the 2025 Dawson’s Haulage Parade with 200 of Australia’s finest rigs, live demonstrations, networking opportunities, the trophy presentation and family-friendly activities.
