Cummins Asia Pacific has announced the appointment of its new executive managing director, Annie Chu, effective as of July 1 this year.
This will follow the retirement of Peter Jensen-Muir, who leaves behind a legacy of 36 years of dedicated service to Cummins, including 10 years leading the diverse Asia Pacific region.
Chu takes over the role after 14 years within Cummins, most recently serving as executive managing director for Cummins Africa and Middle East Distribution business.
“I am honoured to assume the position of executive managing director for Cummins Asia Pacific,” she says.
“I am eager to leverage my experience and dedication to excellence to further drive growth and success across this vibrant region.”
Cummins says Chu’s leadership in Africa and the Middle East has been marked by significant achievements, including record financial performance and transformative initiatives to enhance both customer support and employee engagement.
She will be based in Singapore and will oversee Cummins’ operations in Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, Papua New Guinea, and the Pacific Islands.
