Daimler Truck Australia Pacific has put out a recall notice for 533 Fuso Shogun models due to a power distribution module wiring harness issue.
The wiring in these models may have been connected incorrectly to the positive and negative fuse and relay box terminals. Daimler says could cause the truck module to short circuit, resulting in potential vehicle fires.
Affected units include FP7, FS7, FU7, and FV7 models from 2021-22.
Owners of affected vehicles are advised to contact their nearest authorised Daimler Commercial Vehicle dealership to arrange to have the work carried out as soon as possible, free of charge.
