Daimler Truck Australia Pacific has been recognised as an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) for excellence in the field of diversity.

This is the sixth year in a row that Daimler Trucks has achieved the EOCGE accreditation.

“The WGEA Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation recognises an employer’s efforts to tackle the deep-rooted causes of gender inequality in the workplace,” says workplace gender equality CEO, Mary Wooldridge.

Daimler Truck Australia CEO Daniel Whitehead says this accreditation is not just an award, but reaffirms the business‘ values and commitment in creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.

“The prestigious EOCGE recognition underscores our unwavering commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace where every individual can thrive,” he says.

Daimler Truck Australia is responsible for the Mercedes-Benz Trucks, Freightliner and Fuso commercial vehicle brands in Australia, recently introducing a range of pioneering fully electric trucks including the new-generation Fuso eCanter and the Mercedes-Benz eActros and eEconic.
