Free ticket offer to Trucking Australia 2014

Cummins and the ATA are offering trips to Trucking Australia 2014 at Hamilton Island for the best industry improvement suggestions

Free tickets to a national event will be offered to three winners that can best suggest how to improve chain of responsibility, safety or wellbeing in the industry.

Cummins South Pacific is once again giving away three trips to Hamilton Island for the Australian Trucking Association’s (ATA) Trucking Australia 2014 event.

Winners will attend the event on June 6 and 7 and can bring along a guest to the ATA’s social dinner.

The competition is open to all national trucking operators and their employees.

To enter, you need to tell ATA in 100 words or less what you would bring to the table and how you would use the experience to improve the industry.

Last year’s winner Athol Carter says the event lived up to its promise and provided plenty of opportunities for input during sessions.

“I’d encourage everyone to be part of the Trucking Australia 2014 experience and network – it’s a great event,” Carter says.

The event will see delegates contribute their views and help develop action plans to reduce the number of accidents in the industry, improve health and safety and make the industry an employer of choice.

Delegates will also take part in a special chain of responsibility master class as well as a session on how the ATA, its members and operators can turn the plans into results.

Winners will be announced in ATA’s Friday Facts newsletter on February 28.
