Grafton's weekend of trucking will kick off on Saturday, June 7 when the annual Grafton Truck Show and convoy takes place.
The annual Grafton Truck Show, organised by the Grafton Truck Drivers Social Club, will take place on June 7, the first day of the Queen’s Birthday long weekend.
The parade will start at 10am travelling down Prince Street, Grafton’s main street, travelling to the Grafton Racecourse for an afternoon of fun and entertainment.
As well as exhibitors’ stands, there will be free children’s activities, including a jumping castle, sand wizard, billy carts, trick pony and face painting. The kids will also have the opportunity to climb up and see the world from a truck cab.
The adults will be taken care of as well, with competitions including tarp rolling.
The family afternoon will wind up at 5pm, just in time for the dinner dance at 6pm where ticket holders can enjoy a three-course meal, accompanied by live music.
During the evening, a charity auction will be held, and trophies presented for the winners of the truck show ’90 shine.
Security is provided for those drivers sleeping in their truck cabs overnight, and their will be showers available.
