GREATEST HITS
Troy Cassar-Daley
Troy Cassar-Daley released a “best of” album back in 2007. He’s had a lot more hits since then, hence the release of Greatest Hits, a 42-track double-CD set. This collection goes back to his first hit ‘Dream Out Loud’ in 1994, and even before that with the independently-released ‘Proud Young Man’. Cassar-Daley’s vocals have matured noticeably over the years, the excellent ‘Things I Carry Around’ from his 2016 album of the same name a prime example. A number of collaborations are dotted throughout this collection, including ‘Ramblin Man’ with Tommy Emmanuel, ‘Wish I Was A Train’ with Paul Kelly, ‘Get Away Car’ with Kasey Chambers, and ‘Bird On A Wire’ with Jimmy Barnes.
