Sydney Truck and Trailer Expo set for January

New transport event to include the recently postponed Kenworth Klassic

The Australian Ex Military Vehicle Collectors Society Inc (AMVCS) has announced the running of the inaugural Sydney Truck and Trailer Expo, which will be held from January 28 to January 30, 2022 at the Hawkesbury Showgrounds, Clarendon.

The AMVCS says, in a Facebook notification, that “Sydney has been missing a truck and trailer show” for both new manufacturers, custom accessories, trailer body builders and local dealer networks.

It currently has the support of Gilbert & Roach Huntingwood, Northwest Trucks Riverstone, Copy Southbound Podcast, Kenworth Trucks Australia, Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds, and NSW Freightlines.

Organisers of Haulin’ The Hume and the Kenworth Klassic are assisting in the running of the event. Both those events were cancelled in 2021, however the AMVCS says as a on-off, the Kenworth Klassic will be included in the 2022 Expo.

The AMVCS says the Sydney Truck and Trailer Expo will be open to all makes and year models of commercial vehicles. Local Sydney truck, trailer, bodies and accessories dealerships and manufacturers have been invited to take part.

Owners of historic cars, fire engines, buses, police cars, military vehicles, tractors and stationary engines will also be able to display their wares.

For info, see the listing in OwnerDriver’s ‘Upcoming Events’ web page.
