Transport operator Followmont Transport has revealed a change in its leadership team, with the company unveiling a transition moving forward.
After 12 years spent as the CEO and managing director of Followmont Transport, Mark Tobin will switch into the role of managing director to drive the strategic growth and innovation of the operator.
Tobin first started working with Followmont Transport at the age of 16.

“His leadership has been instrumental in shaping Followmont into the trusted, family-oriented business that it is today,” Followmont Transport says.
“His dedication to our people and customers remains at the forefront as we move forward.”
Replacing Tobin as CEO of the operator will be Ross Longmire, who first joined the company in 2021 as the chief operating officer.
With more than 25 years of experience in the transport and logistics industry, Longmire is looking to continue building on the impact he’s had to date at Followmont Transport.
“His passion for smarter, safer ways to grow the industry and his commitment to our family-focused culture makes him the perfect leader to guide Followmont into the future,” the company says.
“Mark and Ross have worked closely together to ensure a seamless transition, and we’re excited for the opportunities ahead under their shared vision.
