Australian transport operator Hawk Logistics has revealed it has acquired refrigerated transport and warehousing company Farragher Logistics.
Farragher Logistics has 91 years of history in the Australian transport industry completing refrigerated transport and cold storage services across the country since first being established back in 1933 as TJ Farragher Furniture Removalists.
In 1982, the family company’s core services shifted to freight, shop fittings and refrigeration transport, with the business then streamlining its services to specialise in refrigerated transport and cold storage warehousing across the east coast of Australia and then into Perth as Farragher Refrigeration.
Hawk Logistics says the strategic acquisition expands its service capabilities and strengthens its operational reach across the country.

Now, the business employs more than 500 people and works across depots strategically located in Melbourne, Sydney, Griffith and Adelaide.
