Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds and bp have announced they will once again partner to provide thousands of people working across Australia’s road transport, warehousing and logistics sector this Christmas Day with free meals.
While many Australians spend the day with family and friends, these essential teams continue to keep the country moving. To show appreciation for their dedication and hard work, bp and Healthy Heads are offering a free Christmas Day meal at participating bp locations.
Those in road transport, warehousing and logistics can enjoy a festive roast with seasonal vegetables, gravy and steamed greens, choosing between pork with apple sauce or turkey with cranberry sauce, while dessert options include plum pudding or apple pie, both served with custard and ice cream.
Healthy Heads director of industry relations and program management Melissa Weller says the initiative reflects both organisations’ ongoing commitment to supporting the wellbeing of those working in the transport and logistics sector.
“Christmas can be a difficult day to be away from home,” Weller says.

“We want employees in the industry to feel valued and appreciated for their dedication, especially on a day when so many Australians are spending the day with family and friends. This meal is a small but meaningful way to thank them for keeping Australia moving all year round.”
VP customer at bp Australia and New Zealand Lisa Archbold says this marks the third year that the two organisations have offered workers a free Christmas Day meal at participating truck stops.
“Being on the road is a tough job, and Australia’s transport and logistics workers are often working around the clock. We hope stopping by a bp truck stop for a hearty meal brings a little Christmas joy to those working through the holidays,” Archbold says.
To claim a free meal, workers need to show staff at a participating bp site that they have downloaded the Healthy Heads App on their mobile device. The app provides a full list of the 18 participating sites and details of meal options. Meals will be available on December 25, 2025 from 11am to 8pm (AEDT/AEST, as applicable) and will be provided while stocks last.
“The supply chain, road transport and logistics sectors are essential to Australia’s everyday life and the work these teams do often goes unseen,” Weller says.
“We hope this small gesture helps them enjoy a moment of celebration and reminds them that their commitment is valued.”
