At this week’s Brisbane Truck Show, official charity partner Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds (Healthy Heads) will be unveiling its latest ambassador, Kenny the truck.
The Kenworth T410SAR will be driving all over the country to raise awareness of mental and physical health and the free resources available to people working within the road transport, warehousing, and logistics industries.
Generating $118 billion annually and moving nearly 80 per cent of Australia’s domestic freight, the transport and logistics industry is the backbone of Australia’s most essential services. Yet, it is facing significant challenges, where almost 50 per cent of its workforce reports experiencing a mental health condition.

The work Healthy Heads does is vital. Since the foundation’s inception in 2020, it has hosted over 100 events with its DAF Road Show vehicle across the Northern Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and Victoria.
At its road show events, Healthy Heads has engaged with over 6,000 workers within the industry and has conducted more than 700 health screenings.

Healthy Heads says Kenny the truck will be an important addition and enable the foundation to meet with more of the industry in person. Kenny is set to go on a nationwide tour in 2025 as part of Healthy Heads road show events across June to November.
Since the delivery of the Kenworth T410SAR from PACCAR and its Dealer Industry Fund, the truck has received its livery and is set to be unveiled on the first day of the Brisbane Truck Show.
Kenny will be located outside of the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre for all to see across the entirety of the show.
“Poor mental health across our sector is inextricably linked to major industry challenges from road safety risks to fatigue, isolation, and exposure to potentially traumatic events. These impacts go beyond individuals; they affect supply chains and the resilience of our economy,” Healthy Heads CEO Naomi Frauenfelder says.
“We’re excited to unveil Kenny to the industry and beyond at the Brisbane Truck Show. Through this new vehicle, we’ll be able to reach even more people working in our sector in need and help to educate and support them, positively impacting the wellbeing of an industry that is the backbone of our country.”
Healthy Heads will also have a stand at the Brisbane Truck Show; attendees can visit Stand 253 to find out more information.
