Hino hands out accolades for top dealers

Two major dealers have taken home Hino dealer of the year awards for a sixth and fifth time in their history as Hino recognised its best dealers

Hino Australia has crowned its best dealers for the year in an awards ceremony held in Sydney.

The dealer awards included the metropolitan, regional dealers of the year as well as recognitions in sales, parts and service excellence.

The metropolitan dealer of the year for Hino in 2025 is CMI Hino Adelaide in South Australia, who took home the award for a sixth team.

“CMI Hino Adelaide has again demonstrated a consistently high level of performance, and this recognition reflects the team’s focus on quality, professionalism and customer satisfaction,” Hino Australia president and CEO Richard Emery says.

CMI Hino Adelaide general manager Nathan Chatfield paid tribute to the strength and collaborative nature of the Hino dealer network when accepting the award on behalf of his dealership.

“Additionally, this award, and the others we have received tonight, are testament to the strength of our CMI Adelaide Hino team – 2025 was one of the most difficult years we have faced, and we have shown how much we can achieve working together,” he says.

“I’m exceptionally proud of all of the CMI Hino Adelaide team.”

The dealer also delivered a clean sweep of the sales, parts and service excellence awards on the metro side and also received a President’s Award for the fifth consecutive year.

The regional dealer of the year was Newcastle Hino in NSW, taking home the award for the fifth time.

“Newcastle Hino’s Regional Dealer of the Year award highlights the strength of its operations, especially in the sales area, and the dedication of its team to delivering strong outcomes for their customers,” Emery says.

Newcastle Hino dealer principal Sean Lynch thanked the Hino dealer network and his team.

“We’re part of an outstanding dealer network here in Australia – over the past few years, we’ve supported one another, shared ideas and pushed each other to be better. This collaboration makes awards like this even more meaningful,” he says.
