Hino’s Australian softening up process ahead of next month’s full 500 Series unveiling proceeds apace.
Hino Australia released a “sneak peak “of the interior in its all-new street smart 500 Series Standard Cab, “revealing an all-new modern interior with a convenient, ergonomically-designed dash layout, increased day-to-day functionality, practicality and comfort, all set in a balance of carbon, silver and earthy colour tones”, the company states.
“Hino has redesigned the interior of the 500 Series Standard Cab models to provide our Australian customers with a cabin environment that really sets a new benchmark for medium duty trucks,” Hino Australia manager of product strategy Daniel Petrovski says.
Full Australian specifications and pricing of the 500 Series Standard Cab FC, FD and FE models will be available in late next month at dealerships nationwide and online at hino.com.au.

What is known of the standard cab series is that it will some with vehicle stability control (VSC) systems as standard.
It is part of a safety package to include other features seen on the 500 Series Wide Cab, such as UN ECE R29-rated cab strength, a driver SRS airbag, ADR84/00 front underrun protection (FUP) and Easy Start.
