Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) has confirmed truck drivers and road users will need to prepare for road changes along a key Hume Highway bridge throughout September.
From September 1, changed traffic conditions will be in place on the bridge over Cabramatta Creek.
These changed conditions will allow crews to complete necessary safety works that will extend the life of the bridge.
From September 1 to 30, works will occur for up to 12-day shifts and possibly one night shift.
The day shifts will occur from 7am and 5pm during weekdays, while the night shift would be between 8pm and 5am from Sunday to Thursday, as no work is required to be carried out on Friday or Saturday nights.

TfNSW has advised that temporary traffic changes will be in place, including a single lane closure when equipment is being delivered or removed from the site.
Stop and go traffic controls may also be needed for the one night shift on the Hume, with the speed limit to be reduced to 40km/h.
