BlueScope and Toll in bushfire charity drive

BlueScope Steel joins Toll and ABC Containers to deliver 50 storage containers to the Marysville community ravaged by bushfires

BlueScope Steel has teamed up with Toll and ABC Containers to deliver 50 storage containers to the Marysville community ravaged by the Black Saturday blazes in January.

The three companies, which will work under the banner of the BlueScope Bushfire Relief program, will give those affected by the bushfires a storage option to keep their valuable possessions safe during winter.

"It was with looks of amazement and gratitude of the locals and relief workers when they saw the first B-double arriving into the Marysville Timber Yard, the driver managing to overcome the mountain climb," a spokesperson for the program says.

The program adds to previous efforts by the transport and logistics sector to help Victorian communities recover from one of the worst natural disasters in Australia’s history
