MWH appoints engineer to lead NSW operations

MWH has appointed an Australian engineer to take care of its transport operations in NSW

American-based global environmental engineering, construction and strategic consulting provider MWH has appointed an Australian engineer to take care of its transport operations in NSW.

The company says Max Towns will be responsible for providing technical and thought leadership and overseeing client relations, business planning and development.

MWH’s national transport leader, David Bell, says Towns’ appointment will improve the way transport operates in NSW.

“MWH’s growing transportation business will be well supported by Max’s skills and local knowledge,” Bell says.

“His experience leading high profile projects will give our clients access to the innovation and ‘whole of system’ thinking needed to address the transportation challenges facing NSW, as well as our clients nationally.”

MWH’s transportation team has grown from three Queensland employees in 2007 to a current roster of 32 staff members throughout the country.

The business has been involved in ventures such as the Gold Coast Rapid Transit Project.
