A fundraiser ball is being held to support the family of popular trucking identities Tex and Robyn Rehe, who were tragically killed in a car accident.

The Rehe family have held overwhelming support since the deaths of the couple in May.

Border Christian College and Transport Women Australia is planning a fundraiser ball to establish a scholarship trust for the couple's two children, 12-year-old Abbie and 15-year-old Eddie.

Organiser Christine O’Brien hopes the evening will raise enough money to cover all of Abbie and Eddie’s education needs, including university.

The ball, including a three-course meal, drinks, live entertainment and an auction, will be held at the Commercial Club in Albury on November 7.

"People are going to get really good value for their $100," Christine says, delighted that over 400 tickets have already been sold.

If you would like to purchase one of the 40 tickets remaining, phone Christine on 0417 230 745.

Anyone who would like to make a donation to Abbie and Eddie’s scholarship trust can also contact Christine.
