Three more charged over truckie shooting

Police charge another three men over the fatal shooting of ACT truck driver Bob Knight

August 26, 2009

Police in New South Wales have charged a further three men over the fatal shooting of ACT truck driver Bob Knight.

The three men aged between 24 and 26 were all arrested in the city’s west yesterday morning, with two of the accused now on bail.

The third man is in custody and will face court today. All are charged with concealing an indictable offence.

Knight was killed when a stray bullet struck him in the cab of his truck while on the job late in the night on June 25 this year.

The Homicide Squad has to date arrested six people over the incident, but says the case is becoming increasingly harder to piece together due to the lack of information from members of the public who may have witnessed the incident.
