Kajeeva Solutions claims trucking sector is struggling with chain of responsibility and 'falling through the cracks'
Chain of responsibility has opened up a new market for technology providers, with Kajeeva Solutions the latest company to use the stringent laws to promote their products.
The transport technology provider claims its electronic safety tool is capable of helping companies comply with chain of responsibility.
Kajeeva representative Nick Williams says the new technology will allow operators and drivers to provide freight senders with access to real time information on everything to do with chain of responsibility requirements.
According to Williams, sections of the industry do not understand chain of responsibility.
“Many [companies] are struggling with this burden, things are falling through the cracks and they run the risk of something going terribly wrong,” he says.
He says Safe Space will help drivers comply with their legal obligations, have the right safety training and go through all onsite obligations.
“Accounts are managed by drivers who will be able to ensure that the information contained in them matches the need of any number of clients,” Williams says.
“Those clients will in turn have access to that information and will be alerted automatically when a problem arises.”
