Woman critical, truckie in shock after Newell collision

A woman is in critical condition and a truck driver is suffering shock after collision between mini-bus and truck

A woman is being airlifted to Melbourne in a critical condition after a collision between a mini-bus and a truck in New South Wales this morning.

The crash happened about 9.40am today about 9km north of Jerilderie on the Newell Highway.

The female driver of the mini-van was originally taken to a nearby hospital before being airlifted, while the truck driver is receiving treatment for shock at Finley Hospital.

A male passenger in the mini-van suffered a number of injuries and is in a serious condition.
