Sharp bend sends truck rolling

Driver rolls truck after hitting a concrete barrier on a sharp bend

November 5, 2009

A truck in the New South Wales region of Bulahdelah has rolled over after the driver tried to take a sharp right hand turn.

Police say the driver struck a concrete barrier, which caused the vehicle loaded with fruit and vegetables to jack-knife and then roll before 7pm yesterday.

Police officers from the Manning Great Lakes Local Area Command are investigating the incident, which left the 32-year-old driver with a dislocated shoulder.

The crash caused traffic delays as salvage crews cleared the area.
