Transport and logistics industry aspirants offered career path from Latus Business Solutions’ new scholarship program

Transport and logistics employees have the chance to improve their career prospects as part of a scholarship program introduced by Latus Business Solutions.
The company will award eight scholarships this year, with the program covering three diplomas: a Diploma of Logistics Management, Diploma of Business and a Diploma of Management.
Each diploma is nationally recognised and worth $6,500.
The eight scholarships will be divided evenly in Victoria and Western Australia.
Latus says the scholarships will be awarded to applicants with a passion and enthusiasm for developing their career in the transport and logistics industry,
The company says the program is an opportunity for employees to up-skill in their chosen career where they or their employers may not be able to do it themselves.
The program comes as Latus begins work on an e-learning package to help remote and regional candidates access learning that may otherwise be restricted due to their location.
“This will be of particular benefit to those in remote mining areas,” a statement from Latus says.
The e-learning tool is expected to be available by the middle of the year.
Latus says it will accept submissions throughout February and March.
