Investigations are continuing into a road train incident west of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast that caused a chemical spill on the Leichhardt Highway.

Police say the rear trailer of the truck came off and overturned into a gully near Wandoan about 10.15am yesterday.

Emergency crews were brought in to contain the chemical spill.

“No one was injured during the incident. The trailer contained chemicals which spilled into the gully,” a police statement says.
