Bridgestone Australia is auctioning a limited edition Tag Heuer wrist watch to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.

The online auction opened on October 8 and runs through until 5.30pm AEST October 26.

The watch is a Calibre S Tag Heuer comes complete in its own box which has been signed by Lewis Hamilton, who won the 2008 Formula One drivers’ championship with McLaren-Mercedes.

Other features of the watch include water resistance to 300 metres, 1/100th of a second precision, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, fixed aluminium bezel, luminescent hands and markers, hand-applied indexes and semi-circular counters and a triple-row steel bracelet with a double safety clasp.

“Bridgestone has a long and proud association with Formula One, so we’re delighted to be able to offer a fine piece of precision engineering with real grand prix heritage that has also been signed by a championship winner,” Bridgestone Australia Chairman and Managing Director Shawn Hara says.

“We have also been supporters of the Leukaemia Foundation in Australia for more than 20 years and as part of our continued support, we would like to donate all the proceeds from this auction to support the Foundation’s patient transport vehicles, research and care facilities.”
