An owner-driver has died while unloading his truck after the vehicle toppled over and crushed him.
A statement from Victoria Police says the 46-year-old man died at Gannawarra near the Victorian and NSW border about 6pm yesterday.
“He reversed the vehicle into an area on the farm to unload 29 tonnes of stock feed,” the statement says.
“The truck was parked in an area where the ground was not level and when the hydraulic ram to lift the tipper was operated it caused the prime mover and trailer to roll on its side, falling onto of the man.”
Police say a report will be prepared for the coroner.
