ATA turns to members for election wishlist

ATA NSW releases online survey to devise an industry wishlist in time for the state election

February 1, 2011

The NSW branch of the Australian Trucking Association is turning to its members to devise an industry wishlist in time for the upcoming state election.

With NSW voters heading to the polls on March 26, the ATA NSW has issued an online survey to its members to gain an understanding of their wants and needs.

ATA NSW manager Jill Lewis says the survey will give members a chance to influence the ATA’s campaign in the lead-up to voting day.

“The survey gives ATA NSW members the opportunity have a direct say on what we will be focusing on in our 2011 election material,” she says.

“The survey asks members to pick the issues which are most relevant to them and to make suggestions of what we can be focusing on over the next two months.”

Once the survey is completed, Lewis says the major political parties will be asked to directly respond to the issues raised.
