February 7, 2011McColl’s Transport is meeting with the Victorian Transport Association (VTA) tomorrow to launch a new state-of-the-art mobile truck simulator.
The multi-screen driver simulator, worth $500,000, is the answer to making heavy vehicles safer on the road, McColl’s CEO Simon Thornton says.
More than 300 people are killed in crashes involving heavy vehicles each year in Australia, with the risks of fatality in heavy vehicle crashes being three times higher than accidents involving light vehicles.
