Witnesses sought after truck crash

Police appeal for witnesses to come forward after a crash in NSW involving two trucks and a car

Police are appealing for motorists who witnessed a crash involving two trucks and a car yesterday, which closed some roads in central NSW.

A woman and a man travelling in one truck and a man driving the second truck were taken to hospital after they crashed into the car on the Turon Bridge, Sofala, shortly after 1pm. The driver of the car was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Some fuel was left on the road due to the crash, with roads between Castlereagh Highway and Sofala Road in Ilford closed.

Police are still investigating the cause of the accident. Anyone with information about the crash has been urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
