Heavy rain and potential landslip closes Princes Freeway, in Victoria's La Trobe Valley

Princes Freeway in Morwell is closed in both directions due to the impact of recent rainfall and potential landslip.
A diversion route is in place and several entry ramps for both east and west-bound traffic are closed.
Kerang-Quambatook Road between Kerang and Quambatook remains closed to all traffic due to water still covering several sections of the road. The condition of the road is unsuitable and unsafe to travel on, according to VicRoads.
The Murray Valley Highway, between Sleepy Lane and the Loddon Valley Highway, is also closed.
