A truck driver banned from driving until 2022 has been arrested after police caught him behind the wheel of a B-double.
Police pulled the driver over near Wollongong about 10pm yesterday for a minor speeding offence and found his licence had expired in 2002.
“The man from Albion Park Rail had subsequently been banned from driving until 2022,” a police statement says.
He was charged with driving while disqualified and is due to face Wollongong Local Court today.
