Truckie hospitalised after Domain Tunnel crash

Truck driver taken to St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney after crashing into a car in the Domain Tunnel

A truck driver was taken to the St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney last night after crashing into a car in the Domain Tunnel.

Both vehicles were travelling south in tunnel before colliding about 6.30pm.

The truck driver was trapped inside the wreckage. Emergency services had to work on him at the scene to stabilise his condition before freeing him.

He sustained injuries to his leg, neck and back.

The peak-time traffic was delayed for half an hour.
