A Victorian man has died following an accident with a truck in Melbourne yesterday

A Victorian man has died following an accident with a truck in Melbourne yesterday.

The man was travelling north on Clayton Road in Clayton South when his car crossed to the wrong side of the road and collided with a truck.

The truck driver, 66, from Narre Warren, suffered minor injuries.

He is assisting police with their inquiries.

The Major Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the collision.
